Duly noted. I really want to run the Cooper-Cienega TT, so I might go "rogue" with a group of like-minded inmates and bypass the Palomar Divide in favor of the C2T2.

I see what you're talking about. Perhaps we can run out to Pamo Rd. instead of Magnolia and link up with Black Canyon via SY TT then head out Mesa Grande.

If everyone is agreeable, I may have some custom vinyl stickers made to commemorate the event. I'll get a few quotes and let everyone know what the per-head would be. I'm shooting for $2-$3, but we'll see.

I may stay and extra night in Idyllwild. I've never been to Idyllwind and also have a 1000 Trails membership and never stayed at the Idyllwild camp ground. That maybe worth taking that Monday off work.

Movie Trailor of Kid Galahad a Elvis movie filmed in Idyllwild in 1962

    Still IN!!!

What kind of beer does everyone like? I've started home brewing and should have my third batch ready to drink about the time this is ready. I make 5 a gallon batch which translates to 2 cases of 24. Of course we will need to figure out a way to get it to butterfield ahead of time as well but that shouldn't be to difficult.

No problem, I was planning on it. Also going to talk to friends that just bought Packards for a coffee/snack deal for us or a breakfast deal at a local restaurant.

Could you be our scout/gate watcher for Rouse Hill Rd (FR 5S15), Bee Canyon Truck Trail and San Jacinto Ridge Truck Trail (NF-5S09) as the date approaches? It would suck to get all the way to Anza to discover that the gate is closed.

Video of Forest Route Rouse Hill (NF-5S15) north of Anza. I'm really looking forward to these trails near Idyllwild so has my "pillion" ;)

Maybe we should consider adding cedar creek trail off of boulder creek rd as the gate should be open then. Day one could use a little more riding.

I could do it the weekend before. Don't know if that would be close enough to our date to be of significance though. If no one closer can do it on a weeknight I can.

Depends. If everyone can give me a beer they like I can look for a clone recipe. :evil PM me your favorites so we can keep the clutter down. Once we have it narrowed to a handful we can all vote. :1drink

Maybe distribute a couple bottles per bike at the rally point?

    BK BK

    Blake,

How about a sticker design for our group of misfits? Like the ADV stickers or the SDAR stickers but for our sub-group? We are basically a group of SOCAL riders that aren't San Diego specific.
