Any idea's how much an E36 Convertible would cost nowaday's? Are they built well?

I'd like to find a around $5K in decent shape 5 spd.?

Family's owned a 91 and a 89 3 series hardtops' (both bought with over 150K miles) and they ran great, and were still sporty.

Not an M3 e36 convert, right?

I would guess $5-6k sounds right. But probably on it's 5th owner with plus 100K mles.

Might be a bad idea.... Just looked at autotrader for my area. Nothing special all auto's, and overpriced for what you get, all looked beat to hell.

Think i'll wait till i can afford more..

Get a 328, 330 or M3 and you'll love it. They were chosen as car of the year every year for w while for a reason.

The cooling system usually needs replacement around 100k - 120k miles.
