That LED is the mark of the future. It's Tron. It's their new look. It's why I waited for my 'real' order when the dealer said he had a similar order with the halogen lights. No Thanks. I'll wait for the slick looking LED that will immensely help resale *if* I sell this bike 5-8 years from now.

Do it Jim! I'm ready to do some maintenance on my GS/LC and I don't even have it yet!

Most options won't add much resale value, but it will make them much easier to sell.
Since I plan to change mine after 2 years that is something I keep in mind.

I can't tell the difference TBH. I'm 5 ft 10, and have no issues with it.

Ass! Just rub it in. No worries, though. I was out on my KLR a bunch today and will be again tomorrow, so at least I'm not totally without.

Just got this last Tuesday. Riding the local mountains to break it in. This bike really handles the very technical twisties well.

Yes it's the titanium version. Didn't take any close ups but its just the can and the little carbon fiber heatshield and the bracket that attaches the can to the frame.

Here's the seat, which is NO higher than standard, as its slimmer, but not quite as comfortable as the stock seat. For days out, its fine, but you wouldn't go touring with this seat.

This is my first GS having ridden sportsbikes almost exclusively for the last 13 years. A few things I don't like that I'll post about in the near future but otherwise loving it so far. First post so hope the pics come through ok, preview seems to be working as expected...

I'm not convinced the side stand is sturdy enough. Anyone else noticed it deflecting at the weld as it takes up the weight of the bike? Probably just my paranoia given the additional weight of the bike compared to what I'm used to.

I wonder why you guys are still having to wait. I just walked in and bought one off the floor two weeks ago. My dealer had two others waiting for buyers to come along.

My bad, just transfered from photo bucket and that is the way they came out. Not sure what I did wrong. The originals were shot at 8 meg pixels.

Special orders. My dealer has had "close but not quite" with a couple that have come and gone. (e.g. same equipment but white not red, cast wheels not spoke, etc). For some folks that doesn't matter, and that's cool. I really wanted spokes, so I wait...

Did you notice if they have LED's, and spoke wheels? My dealer has a blue one with halogen and chrome wheels and its also sitting in the showroom. I believe it had ESA and ASC though.

My take is that most know what they want at this price range and have ordered and/or are willing to wait.
