What a great ride. You all showed me some new roads. The guys are very adventuresom. My hats off to all three of the riders. :freaky

....but the 5 stars goes to you, LittleWan. I think you are on top at ADV with your wit and imagination....and 2500 miles as a pillion, unf'ken believable.

    Thanks so much

    Hi satchmo3!
Yes, we remember you! BMW 800gs :D How was your trip?
We actually saw you about 1 mile out of Todos Santos -
Bartek had a flat and we saw you zoom by on the hwy.

We were on a dirt side road...

Shortly before you saw this construction:

We looked for you in Todos Santos, but must have missed you.
Hope you had a great time!

Thanks bigdon! keep drinking beer. :evil

    Thanks, motoged!
    That sounds awesome! :lol3

Hey Ladybug, I really enjoy finding flowers for you now!
Thanks for riding along with us!
Hope you have a great trip to Baja this fall. :D

    Thanks, Joel!
So glad you rode along with us (in spirit)
Wish we could make it to Death Valley for your n00b rally rager! :super
    We'll be there (in spirit)!
    :kumbaya

    Thanks, Bob!
Did you see the fire engine in Mulege?
I was so happy to find one for you in Baja!

It was great having you along!
    Buen viaje, Sancho!

Yes! Go get all Bartek on those tacos and scout out some new stuff! :evil
Looking forward to your ride report :deal

Hi Bullspit! You're very welcome, thanks for reading!

    You're welcome, Scott -
hope you're healing up nicely so you and BigDog can get back there soon! :ricky

    Aww, thank you BeardThrone!
I wish there was a place on a resume for "weird japanese linky skills"
    Hmmmmm.:hmmmmm

    Yay! thank you :D

Haha, I can't even guess what those numbers would have been if Scott hadn't left us early! :eek1

    Thank you, Bgunn!
Oh, and we're having a boatload of tacos tomorrow night! :evil

    Mmmmmm....tacos!
I wish there was a Homer clip for that :lol3

    Thanks, Aimee!
I totally see a 2up baja ride in your future...
    or you on your husky

    Thank you, thank you.
Wait, how did you only get a week out of that? Oh, maybe you started late.
or, more likely, only a week was entertaining :evil :rofl

Such kind words! Thank you, Ratman! :D
I'm so happy that you enjoyed the RR, thanks for reading along!

Aw, and Matt thought we were so good on this ride. :huh
    Safety conscious, even.
:lol3 Glad to have you join us again!
Some day you'll get in the dirt, I just know it. :evil

Always great to see you again, redog1!
Thanks for all your enthusiasm and support!
I know - 2 RRs so close together - after doing 2 RRs in 2012.
What is this world coming to??
    :lol3

    Thanks Rob,
I thought Bartek looked so good! I heart gifs.
And matt did such a great job on the last photo (I think that's the "cute" part, right?)
    :rofl

    Thank you!
Hope you have an amazing trip!
You'll like the blurry map, below...
Make sure you get some of those fish tacos in Miraflores :deal

Thanks for the kind words, everybody! :bow
It wouldn't be the same without you guys, glad you came along for the ride!

I'm super happy to have helped bring back good memories for the Baja vets...
and help provide enthusiasm for the folks gearing up for their own Mex adventures!
Baja is awesome - go ride it before any more stuff gets paved! :deal

Here's one last map I never got around to using.
(a screen capture of our tracks). Blurry as usual :rolleyes
Better than the crayon map? not sure.

We're getting together with Bartek and Scott and a few other folks (Radek! :evil)
    this weekend.
If I get any good pics/video, I'll try and post a little mini RR back here.

    :freaky

in the meantime - Go RIDE! :ricky

    Thanks!!

I know it's a b*tch to write so much after doing a big adventure like that...I procrastinate going through photos even. I'm sure you have 10x more photos than you showed us here and it was time consuming simply sorting them all.

OK, Like you guys, I finally finished catching up on this epic Adventure, yet another like I should be surprised. :bow I'm not worthy to even think I could be in your guys class. (Well maybe 10 years ago)

Out friggin standing, This thing had more twist and turns and spins than a day at an amusement park. I got queasy-sweaty-apprehensive- squealed with joy and and that's all from just sitting in my chair.

WOW! I felt like I was on a hell of a roller coaster of a ride, thanks you two.

Whew...... :bubba So, was it like good you guys too? :D

See you out there :ricky Spring has sprung.

Sorry I didn't see you guys in Todos Santos. My trip was great, can't wait to go back. As a "sailboat guy," I appreciated the Charlie's charts references, helpful to get one's bearings..
Thank you again for the great RR!

Thank you for taking us along, and I hope, Little Wan, you fully understand the potential issues you've created for some of your readers.
    Examples?
At work I'm already thought of as a little "odd". Saying things like, "Make breakdowns your favorite.", or, "I was on that like Bartek on a taco." isn't helping.
Riding two up through the crap you two do, or saying things like, "here are the tracks from where we ate it", "this was a fun and fast dirt section", or, "I gave Matt a tarantula when we were dating", is making us bachelors think maybe a woman can be BSC in a good way.
Maybe you'd better take some time to think about what you've done, young lady.:D:D

Awesome RR brings back memories from Baja ...I remember the last part from El Coyote to Mike's... On my way to south america My girlfriend had crashed just before Coco's so we were stuck for 3 week in San Felipe.... I loved that ride. Also miss the food from Mexico all tho can't complain with the one here in Argentina:D
    Cheers and thanks for sharing

Kelly , another great ride report ! My old mind and body can't imagine wanting to ride through those bolder fields you guys called roads or trails . All the wore out parts of my body hurt just seeing where you rode , much less crashed . I was very entertained following along , but don't think I would live through that ride . So where will the next epic ride take you ? Once again , you and Matt make one of the toughest off road teams ever . Thanks for the journey !!! :clap:clap:clap:clap
