Thanks Interesting, but the sliding action between the lever arm and tower pin cannot be good in the long run -M
Hello, I have rox raisers less Than 2" lift and original handle bar. Will steering damper and a RC high be higher or lower Than my current Running?
I contacted Promotobillet and this was their response. Hey Ross, the damper set we have is intended to work with our damper, we've not tested it on the Scotts, I'm unsure if it would fit. The main reason being that the transfer arm we use (the piece that connects to the bottom of the stabilizer) is of different length than the Scotts transfer arm, also that arm has a 'dogleg' bend in it as well, whereas ours just comes straight out to meet the post. That's kind of a BS reply. I've had plenty of Scotts dampers over the years and they don't all use the same arm. Some longer, some shorter and some with doglegs in them, you can buy an arm for any application you can dream up from Scotts. I understand the reason he gave you that answer though,,,, because they would rather you buy their product. A quick search around the internet reveals the Scotts and the PMB damper are interchangable as far as mounting. GPR also fits the mounting.
Here's another option but at the price you may as well go with the full Scotts setup. http://www.rallemoto.com/contents/en-us/d27.html#p27
