Stopped by 3 Bros today and they had a very special bike sittinng on the floor, the 2013 990 Baja limited edition. This thing is sweeeeeeet! Apparently this one belongs to the KTM rep and 3 Bros will be using to intice future buyers, LIKE ME. Word is they will have a few in early March.

Anybody interested in a garage queen, slighty adventured GSA?

todd, that would be sweet. I had my hands on a black 950 that I let slip through. I am still not happy about it.

The quick rundown I got at the shop was the following would be additional options on the Baja edition:

cockpit GPS mount, ABS (on/off button), LED aux lights, heavy duty spokes/wheels, aluminum/steel spocket, Dunlop 908's, comfort seat, rear rack, waterproof tail bag, tank bag, radiator guards, powder coated orange frame and crash bars. Available USA only.

I am seriously talking myself right into this bike ...

KTM have announced a new ‘Baja Edition’ 990 Adventure, which the Austrian company claims is “the most offroad-capable travel enduro in the world.” Built specifically for the North American market only, this limited edition model is, according to KTM, “a tribute to Baja, the land of the famous SCORE/Baja 1000 and also of multiple travel adventure rides and rallies.”

You know, a tall 990-R does seem like the perfect beefy big bike for Big Todd. :evil

I bet that bike would have survived that dip on the LAB2V trail without bending the suspension. Of course if you get it you will then probably go faster and find an even bigger dip to bottom out in. :lol3

Give Big Todd a faster, more nimble, better suspended bike and .......:eek1

Well I did pick up a bike to chase you and your 250 around on ... nimble and suspension! So far so good, haven't hurt myself yet.
