I was shocked to hear that Tony Stewart, was the ONLY NASCAR driver to take time, and go spend two hours at Halifax Hospital with the injured fans on Sunday. I have a new respect for him! There's also video of the crash from the stands.
Looks like Danica has a lot left to learn, she pretty much had no idea why the right front blew out. I'd bet that she couldn't help the crew with input during practice and they just threw Newman's setup on her car since they both did the same thing. Still a fan, maybe after a full time season she will have a better grasp.
Why would she know? I'm a Danica fan but not a believer......Denny Hamlins crying because he got fined for saying he doesn't like the new cars is silly. Silly Nascar for fining him for bitching and silly him for whining. All the cars are still idenical so whats the beef? Just drive it and make your millions.
Because a race car driver knows a tight car, Newman knew...he's just more aggressive and crashed it twice. Danica is clueless when it come to car setup from what I can tell. Put her on a single car team and she probably wouldn't qualify for a single race without somebody else's notes.
Seems like complaining about her is the majority of your racing posts these days. She is well and truly inside your head!
I'm actually a fan, I love that girl!! I'm just saying that she has a lot to learn and that she wouldn't even be able to qualify for a race if she didn't have all that Stewart/Hendrick experience behind her.
Danica is a underdog and I love underdogs. It could be a black guy, or a red guy, or a brown guy, a women or even a old guy like Mark Martin, I root for them. .
She has those rascals strapped down tight. Ya have to hug the wheel in NASCAR and they would just get in the way.:eek1
I'm such a hardcore NASCAR fan I don't even have a clue where todays race is? But I'll watch the last ten laps where ever it is.

Yeah,its just getting to be spring here and between complaining about Danica and supercross I havent had alot to do.Cant wait till I can ride my bike and work in the yard,maybe take in a sprint car race and Redbud.I like people that fly under the radar,and she's not one of them.If she was a guy,nobody would have given her a ride.
I watched the race. Thought is was pretty good. DP only got 32nd. Damn. I've watched all 3 races this year. :eek1 :huh
