:clap:clap thanks for the time and work of sharing your trip with us. To me, that's the hardest part of any trip is the picture sorting, writing and then, internet work of sharing a trip. Never worry about other people's idea of a trip.
    Do your own ;-) . :clap:clap:clap

Great pictures and your writting style had me reading every word of your RR. Lots of details that really brings the reader along with you. :lurk

It requires a lot of thought (and time) to put one of these together!

In my book, you did a great job. :thumbup

Great RR. I enjoyed it very much. I see you passed by my place by about 1/2 mile when comming back into Canada. To bad I didn't know, we might have hooked up and I could have taken you to a great place for breakfast. It might have cut into your arrival time in Montreal though.
I'm sure you feel youv'e accomplished a great deal with this ride.

    1 You did it!.
    2. Youv'e written a great RR that I and others have enjoyed and learned from.
    3. I think youv'e expanded your horizons on what us old FF's can do.

    Well Done. :clap

    Another A+ !!

Thanks for the RR. Your self-deprecating writing style kept me chuckling. And the photos are beautiful.

Hey 52 is still young. I'm 57 and just starting to ride a lot again, mostly alone and on more gravel and dirt with my 1150gs. Your bike is really not that heavy compared to "miss piggy" when loaded with 80 lbs of gear.

Recover quickly from the hip surgery and think young and keep riding.

A+++ for the report and the road traveled. :wings:clap

    Awesome report! Loved it!

I think the fact you did it alone and got in some situations where you were close to panic mode and still kept your head on shows a lot.

Hope you don't mine, but I will be using one of your quotes in the future.
