So if I don't have a Bass Pro Shops in my back yard... I can't get the $250 price? I'd like to order it online.

I called but you can't order it online. You have to go to Bass Pro Shops and pick one up.

I know there are some haters on here because it doesn't have a 12V connection, but at $219 delivered, what the hell, I ordered one!
    Thanks Hayviator.

One hater in particular. The only thing lacking on the 62S is the Garmin power plug. Aside from that, it's a great unit.

You'd be better off getting the 78 at West Marine for $200.

As long as you're happy with the crappy mini usb power source, or you have lots of batteries, and your vision's ok with small screens, you may be ok. The 550 is great as a handheld unit, but don't expect it to be the equal of a Zumo. The maps on the T aren't auto-routing, and many people say they're fairly useless anyway.

The 78 series can be found for as little as $200 from West Marine, and it's more desirable than the 550 because it has a better power connector.

I already have a 60csx and was hoping this one would do routing. Rats.
