I use a 30,000btu torpedoe propane heater in the shop whem I am working out there. I will run it until the shop is 50F then shut it off until the temperature drops to around 45. It works but, it sounds like a jet engine,really raises the humidity in the shop causing all of the cold objects to sweat and as mentioned, goes through propane in a hurry.

Thanks Charlie. I appreciate the offer. Unfortunately from what I have read the sensor in mine is different In that it is 2K and yours is 5K. In answer to Matt, I believe the connectors are the same for all the BMWs. Charlie's Eruption would work on later 1200s, the 650s and 800s.

Its quite the hump over to that place, I've driven or ridden past it a few times bit never had the chance to ride there. Do get a paddle if you go! I may be down with that ride....says the guy with the bad knee sitting in the mri waiting room lol.

Sand is the Debil! Always found sand and moving metal parts don't go well together.
