Great list and thanks for all your hard work. Makes a lot of difference to a guy like me who is shopping for a nice light used dual sport.

The weight of my XR650R changes every hour, depending on how tired I am when I pick it up.

The list is so long you have to search not read, so having it all lumped together doesn't really make it too much less useful. I'd dump it in to a spreadsheet with formulae to calculate with/without fuel, then you could also sort & filter to your heart's content. Hmmm, might even make it into a database-driven web page, I need a little sample project! :lol3

Bikes not available in the USA are useful to those of us who don't live in the USA. I understand it may not be at your fingertips, but if you have the data by all means publish it, please.

just a quick note to point out that the short list above are austalian bikes so unlike many in the us (dnt know about europe) the xr's and drze's are licenced usually with the big headlights and indicators and stiff from their roadgoing cousins...

Absolutely will do if the opportunity arises. I'm afraid Tenere fans will be devastated by reality if we get that thing on a scale.

Not sure about the 08 and up 450/530 but the older RFS bikes all weighed the same. On the same scale with the same fuel tank my wife's 2004 250 EXC-G weighed within 5lbs of my 2005 525 EXC. (250, 400, 450 and 525 weight differences are negligible for the intents and purposes of this information)

So far, I have not taken my DR650SE any place I've not been on my 1250 Bandit. But, the loose gravel is way more easier and fun on the DR. :lol3 :lol3

At my age and my hip problem, I'm not going to get into anything very technical anyways.

    KLR 650's
Early version customer bikes, ready to ride w/half tanks or so of fuel, examples 2003 and 2005 weighed 391 lbs
my '08 similarly ready to ride weighs 451 lbs, the entire 60 lbs difference is on the front wheel. wow! I can feel it too when I ride them.
I still like my heavy KLR. It may weigh alot, but at least it doesn't make much power.

Klink, you have distilled KLR ownership to its essence. I salute you.

Great list(s); thanks for doing the work to get them to us in different orders, as well. Anyone ever find the weight for the '95 KTM 620 RXC? I know the 620 Adventure is listed, but there is a lot of extra stuff hanging off of it, as well as an electric leg.

I seem to recall 277lb ready to ride for the SC (which is for all intents a non DS RXC, non Estart model) was listed by KTM.

Don't suppose anyones got a real weight for the XR600R? Manual states a 284lb (128kg) dry weight, guessing that makes it around 140kg wet?

    Cheers - boingk

The place where my brother works has digital scales on the loading dock, supposedly accurate to 1/10th pound.

I rolled my SE on the scale wet (with just over 5 gallons of gas in the 7.9-gallon Safari tank), Garmin 2610 GPS in RAM mount, stock took kit, passenger pegs installed, CJ Racer aluminum rear plate, Cycra Pro Bend hand guards and Wings Titanium cans... 452.3 pounds.

For general riding around I usually have a Wolfman tail bag on the rear rack and carry compressor, extra tubes, tire changing tools, still and video (helmet) cams and a few other items. Loaded, this bag added 22.1 pounds to the total.

I weighed my 2002 KTM 400EXC a couple days ago.

125f/131r for a total of 256. That was with a bit less than half a tank of gas - so maybe upper 260's full. That was with a skidplate and handguards but otherwise stock. Oops - chain was off at the time as well.
