Sadly bike still in pieces. Collecting parts to do some maintenance over the next month. Hopefully have it back together by March.

    March? That's practically Summer!

Sadly, I tried to start my DR and it refused to co-operate. Wanted to go for a short January ride.

It's only bling if replacing it is optional. Sorry.

No, I think I'd fix that, fairly quick. You can't have Honda riders making a laughingstock of the mighty 690. :freaky

Honda Riding Heathens, I think they're called.

I thought it was a pinched tank vent line not fuel pump.

a lot of thinking about it, a little poking around... pump doesn't sound the same as originally, plus that is the second time it dropped me off for 15min or so... vent line both times ... not likely...

when it died beside you, that was clearly a running out of fuel issue.

there is a full thread on the ktm690 fuel pump... hmmm...

It also isn't good for the pumps to run out of fuel. They tend to overheat and then become more unreliable, I heard.

Its a ktm, they eat fuel pumps. Speaking of ktm consumables.....its time for your bike to have a new waterpump kit applied :nod

It'll take a lot more than the promise of a coffee to get me to ride anywhere, let alone the Pig, Tim. But thanks for the offer. :lol3
