Plenty of action throughout the race (apart from at the very front).

Alonso's move on Hamilton at Les Combes was brilliant.

Enjoyable race, not quite as exciting as the last day of the Ashes though.

Not bad, if you can stomach another Red Bull romp. :lol3

Excellent drive by Alonso. Sutil did himself a favor too. Did Massa do enough to save his job? 7th's not bad, he gained three positions. But compared to Alonso's 7 spots gained, Ferrari could be forgiven for asking if he got the most out of the car.

Loved seeing Sutil take his hand off the wheel and shake his fist, I think at Guiitterez, as they were wheel to wheel and about to enter Eau Rouge. Brave!

Looks like Vettel just may make it 4-in-a-row. :thumb
Love the way he wasted zero time in dispatching with Hammy.
    Bravo to Falonso!!!!!!!!!!! :freaky

Is it just me thats questions some of their decisions?
Sutil chopped Maldonado, causing him to hit DiResta, and the wrong guy was punished.

I tried to paste it here, but it's too messy.
Scroll down that Wiki link and look at his F1 stats, and the huge number of non-finishes.

    44 DNFs, 44 finishes, 2 Disqualifications.

When SV went around LH like he was stuck in Mud I new the race was for second. You would think that Mercedes could figure out how to make that car go faster in the race. And what the hell is wrong with Raikkonen, they come on the radio and tell him to take care of the car and he bitches about it and trashes the brakes going for a position he would have given up in 2 laps for tires. He is going to end up at Marussia if isn't careful. If the brakes had been better on the Lotus, I think he would have gotten to Alonso and the Ferrari.

Apparently one of the visor tear-offs got in the brake duct in Kimi's car, reducing cooling, resulting brake over heating, wear and breakdown that ended his race. I've always thought when it would happen like this that the tear-offs block someones ram-air, cooling vents or brake ducts and then it comes to reality in this way:bluduh

Seb had so much pace in the reserve if he would have needed. Deserved that one.

damn... and here I thought Lotus had saved money by buying used brakes off HRT....

    :D

what a snooze-fest... Moto GP was pretty good though!

I fixed it, Just tired no booze! I stand by the sentiment, Vettel was so much quicker when he needed it, it was like he has some special parts that Webber does not get in his car. He has had a good car for the last 3 years, but something was different about it yesterday. I bet we see that setup at Monza. SV will put the championship out of touch there, or Bernie will have a back marker crash into him so that the season remains interesting.:deal
I also stand by the prediction of Vettels move to Ferrari, the new V-6 turbo set up will prove to be challenging for RBR and Vettel will use the performance clause in his contract to move to Ferrari in 2016 after Alonso wins the Title in 2014 and 2015. Vettel wants to be and be better than Shumacher so he will mimic the moves MS did to beat his record of 7 championships.
Well I still think if he had rode around behind Hamilton until the next Pit stop he would have gotten to F,A and challenged for 2nd. Been in the points and stretching his finished races record.

That's an interesting thought. Alonso certainly made a big effort at Spa. I wonder if he felt some pressure from the team?

Man, I thought it was bad when the driver I hated most in F1 moved to Ferrari. It would be cruel and unusual punishment to make me cheer through Alonso and then Vettel as well. :lol3

I don't see Ferrari winning a title soon. They're not a well-run outfit. A change of homologation certainly opens the door for everyone, but I'm not convinced that Ferrari have the kind of bold thinking that won Brawn a title when they invented the double diffuser.

Everyone assume that the Mercedes engine will be the best next season. Is that because of their sports car racing?

Lotus rolling out a long wheelbase car for the final races of the season. Apparently they want to see just how accurate their computer modeling and racing simulator are.
