Good luck. If you need to be in Los Angeles by Dec 31st, you need to put the hustle on. Texas alone will take 2 days.

You must mean your sister is living in L.A. Where?

How long are you going to be out here? Do you plan on staying in L.A. for awhile?

Are you going to sight see? What are you going to do with the scoot?

Yes, my sister, her husband and a son. I don't know exactly where they live) But in 3 days I'll tell you.

Firstly I'm going to stay in LA for 5 days, than I'm going to The Bahams for 10 days, then I'll come back and continue my trip on scooter.

I love poker, so I'm going to poker clubs. Some museums, some shops)

After all (may be in June-July), I'm gonna sell the scooter. But not sure, cause it is perfect)

I have done 500 mile days on my Silver Wing I was very sore and tired at the end of the day. I had little time for sight seeing so I looked for things to see on the route I was traveling. I'm assuming you are traveling on the Interstate highway system. You can make good time in west Texas. Good time generally with gas and food stops include you may be averaging 50-55 MPH for calculating freeway distances for a days travel.. It sounds like you are moving very fast. Flagstaff Arizona often has snow. You may think about heading further south along Interstate 10.

I'd get on interstate 10 before you leave New Mexico . Interstate 40 is way too high elevation to risk this time of the year. There will be snow and the elevation doesn't drop to a no slow level until you come over the hill to LA. The 10 will be warm and balmy in comparison. The 8 would be even better. It's very low elevation the entire way.
