This is from Watkins Glen?? I live in Rochester, about an hour north of Watkins glen. Would you mind telling me where abouts? Also from your pictures (waffle house) are you around Carlisle? I remember passing a Waffle house on my way to Carlisle. I used to live north of you in Malvern, King of Prussia and then Pottstown.
Yep, that picture was taken on the Gorge Trail. I live a bit east of York. The WF in the picture is one of two in Lancaster. There is one in Carlisle, so your memory is doing just fine.
From last weekend, I give you a little video. <iframe frameborder="0" scrolling="no" width="425" height="318" src="https://api.smugmug.com/services/embed/1696564552_mr7wncH?width=425&height=318&sb&fs"></iframe> This is my first attempt at video editing, and I will be the first to admit that it is kind of rough. Still, I like it, so I will share.
It was a nice enough day yesterday, and I had nothing pressing after work, so I took the long way home. First windmills in the area. River Road in southwest Lancaster County. Fun! This was my first try at this style photography. Worked fairly well, I think. And one last shot on the way home. I will leave you with another video. Hopefully a bit better than the last one. <iframe frameborder="0" scrolling="no" width="425" height="284" src="https://api.smugmug.com/services/embed/1698668574_4cWdcGX?width=425&height=284"></iframe>
The 990 seemed to have a good time! Gotta love days like this in "The Dead Of Winter". Keepem' comin'. SoPa
Huh...the video looks slow to me when playing from the web. Could just be my old Toughbook though. It is a good rugged laptop, but not all that fast. Kind of like a KLR.
One of my favorite roads in the area is Furnace Road (Rt 425). Nothing too special, but I like the way it flows, and it is a pretty ride. <iframe frameborder="0" scrolling="no" width="425" height="284" src="https://api.smugmug.com/services/embed/1703703458_Bgxm2Rt?width=425&height=284"></iframe>
The Bald Eagle Bastards did our PA ICE Rally last weekend. Here are a few shots for your entertainment. Cool mural I found while looking for cigars Details There are lots more to see in my SmugMug account
Thanks m'lady. I am enjoying your thread as well. Now get that bike put back together and get more pictures for your fans.
You know, you are the second person that has mentioned the resemblance today. I have not watched that show at all yet, but I can see where you are coming from. Even better is that I have been known to do medieval recreation type stuff.
I have been slacking on getting pictures lately. Here are a few from last weekend. Cool looking trees I was not aware that Harley was running a new Rider's Edge program
Hi Skyclad, really enjoyed your videos especially since I ride those same roads about twice a week. Next time I'm there (today) I'll look for a KTM with a jouster on the seat.
