    Hi Berty,

Friday, heading to Burra then up to Caroona Creek CP for the night. Plan for Sat is to do a 200km up to Yunta via Ketchowla and Braemar. The a different return loop (a few options here depending on time/weather). Camp Sat night at either Caroona again or over at the old school hosue at Mt. Bryan East. Sun - back to Burra by lunch, and then head home.

I'll PM you with the trip details I just sent the other guys.

G'day lads, for those that have missed it in the flea market and would like to experience too much power for what we do and love it; I'm selling my 990 ADV....

    I'm looking at changing to a 08+ 530EXC

Due to an expanding family, the bike needs to go. I'm not using it like I used to, for long trips and the like. So now it's time to downsize and limit my rides to short day trips near home.

I bought it new from Kessner KTM in Adelaide in December 2008.

It's done 50,319km. It recently had a new fuel filter and o-rings. The water pump was done and the valves were still within spec at the last service.

    It's got the following extras:

    Akropovic Pipes

Emig Racing Triple Clamps and Dampner

    "Hard Parts" Crash Bars

    "Hard Parts" Pannier Racks

"Hard Parts" Gobi Hard Plastic Panniers w/ 7L Water storage

    "Hard Parts" KTM Tank Bag

"Hard Parts" Carbon Fibre Exhaust Heat Shields

    Unifilter Pre-Filter

Rallye-Raid Products Carbon Fibre Windscreen (Still have original screen.)

Ram Mount on dash for Garmin GPSmap 60CSx (I'll look at throwing in the GPS)

    Hard wiring for Garmin GPS

The front suspension I have upgraded the springs from .48 to .58 including re-valving to suit the heavier springs. This was done by Hoey Suspension here in Adelaide. (It's way too soft in standard trim.)

    Rear suspension is untouched.

    $12990 :evil

Yeah of course! I couldn't go anything else.... I've got a KTM sticker on the back of my car, how could I possibly remove it for something else!! :D

In all seriousness, it'll be more convenient (read: keep the missus happy) if I put the bike on a trailer and take the family with me when I go riding/camping... So I guess all is not lost.

Re fuel bladders, I'm not going to the Gold Coast in April as first thought as I have an appointment on North Tce 15/4/13 on the same day. :pope

That being the case, we will be stuck with the shipping costs of $15 each for them and with GST that will make them $140 each. Are we still interested, shall we piggy back the ADV group buy, or try to get to 11 and do our own thing?:ear

For those thinking about the Sunday ride out of Gawler to Truro, the temp will get to 37 later in the day. Last week, we were back in Gawler by midday after the same time start of 0800 at the BP. It should be okay.:knary

It's on again - one of the best motorcycle racing events in SA - the Collingrove Hillclimb, from 9am Sunday 17th March, 2013. More details here. $10 for adult spectator entry. Anyone keen to catch up? It's a great day out with all classes, including vintage, classic, race, motard, sidecars and quads competing.

whacked a secondhand pipe on the DR and the middle tab needs tweaking. It doesn't quite line up and is far enough out that a simple hole enlarge ain't gonna work ...
any recommendations for someone up Elizabeth way (I'm at DSTO - near Edinburgh air base) I could go and see over lunch?

I can cut the existing tab off and grind the pipe smooth but I'd like to talk first so I make sure I don't do nuffink dumb!

    cheers,
    Slap
