    Dave,

    Excellent route today.

I'm beat up. A word of advice for anyone doing the off road ride.
Don't show up with anything less than knobbies. I did todays route on Mefo explorers. Bad idea on my part, the rocks were relentless
I was not hooking up at all.

This route is completely different from the last 2 years so be prepared.

Balsey and Flatworks, always a good time riding with you guys.

Check out this map of the ride. There is a rogue waypoint throwing off the info but you get the point. Click on the tab above the map. Then you hit the play button you can follow our ride.

From the looks of the off road route, I think I had better plan on bringing the Ulysses and sticking with the big bikes. I just ain't ready to be playing on terrain like that quite yet.:lol3

Fantastic Day ! Great route Dave, keep it coming. I was whooped. For anyone planning on their 1st or 4th Smokin Rock ride, come prepared! (not to scare ya, there's always a helping hand) The only thing that's annual is the Good time, the loop is new.I can't say for the road ride, but I'm sure the other half of the Grim Bros has something up his sleeve too! I'll try to post my pics later.

Just to update the offroad ride section of the rally this year. Ii's going to be nasty. Much worse then any other years. It'll be loads of fun though. I can always break it up if needed.:clap

Going to try to make this year, very sad i missed last year! The off road ride looks great! Glad to see you picked up a 625! I think that it might be to small for you after seeing you on the 950!

So far it's a smallish group for the rally. That's fine by me. If we end up with 30 riders, already over that so that stop point is gone, it'll still be fun. For the offroad section guys we will NOT make it to Matto cycle this year. We will be spending our entire day only a few miles away from JT. I'm thinking we will travel a total of maybe 25 to 30 miles........maybe!!! Bring your Camelpacks, tools, tubes. Must still be plated and registered. I can only hope that the weather is a bit cooler then this past weekend. My brother's ride will be totally different also. He is heading north this year into some real pretty country.

So there you have it. That's going to be the Rally this year. Sign up and enjoy.

You riding your BMW or your little KTM. I don't want to be the only big bike on the off road route.

Hey, the 625 is not a small bike. Plus, you will still be faster than most

Well, since I did the scouting ride, I am taking the KTM 530. There were a couple of spots that would had been really tough on the bmw. Nothing I don't think you can handle with your bike.
