You have been drawn into the force of ADVrider, you will be back more often reading more ride reports and other stuff. It is too late to leave. Happened to me a few years ago with just 1 thread about a unigo trailer build, and now I am here more often... good luck with resistance :lol3

But that Doug, he sure knows how to travel.:clap

    fixxed it for ya, HTH!

and... WHY? even if they do run the occasional motorcycle coverage, the announcers are moronic, the coverage is horrible, with cuts to commercials every 5 minutes while the race is on.

You have to remember, the average person that visits the NASCAR channel thinks NASCAR drivers are the best drivers in the world. This demonstrates a lower than average intelligence and attention span. They are just playing to their base audience.:D

i find it interesting that so called 'world champions' cant seem to hold their own when they try coming over to the heavy car division. maybe they ain't such bad drivers after all.

I have yet to see any NASCAR driver that can run with the rally drivers. I have watched some give it a shot. The results were...humorous. I put rally drivers above pretty much any closed course type driver.

I am not saying NASCAR drivers are bad drivers, and they are indeed very good in their specialty. But to call them the best drivers in the world? Well, it just ain't so.

I've read through all the 170 pages of this really, really nice ride report (thanks, Doug!), and am really surprised that between all the comments noone has put in the link to this clip:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sIRTrsabL_M

(for non-russian speakers, you hafta wait a little bit into the clip to hear a word that's related to the thread, around 1:25 to be more specific :) )

You need a press agent to finish your reports, that will leave your hands free for more important things...... like riding. :D<!-- / status icon and date -->
