Wish I could join you guys but I've got other plans on Saturday.

Forrest Service maps are okay, but I think the National Geographic maps of that area are better. I got them at REI. Not cheap but high quality and they seem to have more trails marked on them.

I'm riding the 990 so anyone with a big boy bike will not feel left out.

One it does not take three people to turn around in the middle of a trail ?? The opposite of a duel sport aircraft carries??.

We just signed on another RAT RIDER....We might have to give him a name..as he is not signed on at ADV. I hope he

knows to bring a note from mama.

It's ok since my riding skills make it appear as if I'm riding an unwieldy behemoth! :eek1

    See y'all at 0930 - hope someone brings a map - or not! :D

There is parking on the east side of the gas station. I live out there, so when we split-up I will be going back that way.

Nice pics, thanks for posting them. Sorry I missed the ride.
I should be back down there around the first weekend in Nov, and able to stay for the rest of the month, should there be any other rides planned.

Question, Boomtown is referred to, I assume that's the Casino?

Well saturday turned out to be a fantastic day for a ride. Had a great time with a bunch of guys I'd never met before - thanks y'all!
Didn't get that many good pictures, but here's the best of 'em.
Next saturday sounds like fun, but will be at the plow again - maybe next time.

Who's idea was it to go up this dead end road any way? Made it to within 200 yards of Sardine Lookout, but gate was closed and patience was worn thin.
Take a right off of Beckwourth Genessee Road onto this nice paved road (well nice for a bit lol) and it takes ya right to the camp.

Great pictures, guys. The ride looks like it was fun. I was really looking forward to it, but ultimately couldn't make it (obviously!).

Would like to get in on it next week if it's happening again, though!
