Yep, I have been out of touch for a bit but I am back....planning to put some miles on this weekend so you'd better ride. Hey RIP, are you in Nashville or Knoxville?

I'm just a few miles west of Knoxville. I hope that's okay since I already took the time to join and post on the mileage game? I will ride to Nashville on a weekend in January 2015 if I do win the mileage game.

Sounds good to me......Last year the winner lives in Kentucky, hasn't got to pick up his winnings yet.

that's a nice bike. I seriously considered buying one a couple of years ago, but I bought ann FJR instead.

Thanks I still have 3 more years left on the Honda warranty for the NT700V. But I think a Yamaha FJR1300 or a Yamaha Super Tenere is going to be my next bike. So hows your FJR1300 doing I wish I had one?

Mrs B didn't like the FJR. I traded it for a 2008 Nomad she did like. Then she wanted her own bike, so we bought her 450 Rebel. Then I decided the Nomad was just too big and heavy for solo riding, so I got rid of it and bought a 2012 DL650, which I quickly got bored with and sold. Now I am riding a VTX1300R.

So I have bought 5 bikes in 2 years. I really liked the FJR, and I wish I still had it. that new DL1000 sure looks sweet though....

Yeah, now you know why we call him Mr. Breeze......his bikes come and go like the wind. As for me, I LOVE my FJR....it's my second one....I had a 2003 and now the 2005. I would love to get the 2014 with the cruise control and all the new farkles but I plan to wear this 2005 out first....they are commonly known to go 200,000 with just regular maintenance.

So, a new one in about 2 years then?

Depends, do you know anyone willing to pay an Engineer's Salary to professionally ride a motorcycle?

what does a trust fund baby need an engineer's salary for?
