Wife says mine arrived today. I will get it tomorrow and am grateful. Working on the road has its drawbacks but it will be nice to refer to the book and DVD to get stoked for some riding.

Hey Ted, I'm not going to see you at the Roaming Rally, would you mind handing my book off to Dresda? I'm trying to get a run up that way sometime this year...

All pre orders have been shipped. Sadly the overseas books had to be shipped ground....air was quoted at $80 per book so.....6-8 weeks delivery to some areas. My apologies for that but I didn't expect folks wanted me emailing them and asking for more money so patience is going to be required...it was the only solution which wouldn't actually cost me money (break even at best).

To be fair to the folks who are going to have to wait a while, sales won't commence until August. Once they do, books will be printed and shipped from the printers. Their shipping costs are significantly lower than anything I could come up with. I suppose they get a deal as a result of doing bulk business.

So.....in August a website will be posted with purchase details.

It's quite flattering reading peoples feedback about the book. I'm stoked your enjoying it :thumb

I got mine on Wednesday. I must have ESP or something. I was driving home wednesday afternoon and thought, "I wonder when that book will arrive?". When I got home, and opened the door to let the cat out, it was sitting on the front porch!!

I'm about 45-50 pages in, and so far I'm LOVING it! Nice job Ted and crew! I still have not put the dvd in yet, but I'm looking forward to it. Hope there are some more pictures of the umbrella girls! :evil

Now I need to hide it from myself so that I can get everything ready for the Roaming Rally! :freaky

Take your time with it. I'm a third of the way in, and I could read it much faster, but I don't really want to finish it.

Again Ted, best Dakar book on my shelf, that's for certain.

Lovin' the bike porn that is Tales from the Bivouac! Perfect coffee table book. The production and quality are first class.

    Thanks again.

Trying to decide where that one excellent sticker will go. Probably on the Tiger XC windshield.

It's all true! I don't have anything to add to what's been said before about the book.

Got the book last week, just had a chance to sit down and get some actual reading done. Great book and well worth the price of admission. Thank you for taking the time to put your thoughts down and sharing them with the community.
