Hoped to get out there today too but a series of snafus (including a drive chain that is past its usable life) left me wrenching and working on stuff.

spent my day painting my bedroom...every room in the house has been painted now except my bathroom and the living room. Its amazing what a little paint will do to transform some puke prefab wall patterns into something quite respectable and pleasant oto look at...so now i'm wrenching my old back...so not inclined to do any riding today...have one wall left to do tmrw and then 2nd coat where needed...

I am in for lunch today. Anyone else able to get out?

I totally meant to be at lunch today then totally got caught up in other things and misplaced my time.

Next week.

I didn't wake up anywhere near soon enough to make it to lunch. Then it's been nonstop since!

Right now the BMWs calendar is free for lunch. Mine is as well so I am thinking we both will be there today.

I will have to miss today. A meeting was called that goes to 12 but is on the SE side of Raleigh. Eat well.

I'd go but I am not really impressed with the expensive food at AGP...everytime i've been there it has not been what I expected nor is is as good as it was when Mick and Leslie ran it...still I had a feeling today would not be the best day to go...maybe next week

Last couple times I went it didn't cost me a dime. Maybe that's because I didn't eat..

Thats nice Chad...but its supposed to be a lunch...while its true that its the freinds you meet up with that make this special and the food is secondary...still AGP does not offer a good value for your $...

I only ate there once and that was previous owners. I go for the company since I pass about 3 dozen places to eat between here and there.

I'm looking to visit a friend that lives in Chapel Hill, wondering if anyone knew of any back roads/off road routes between Northern VA and Chapel Hill. Anyone have any tracks or info to share? I'd be on an XR650L.

I've seen the TET tracks, but as great as they look they run a little farther west than I'd have time for.

Wish I could help with your route planning but I haven't a clue as to which roads to take ...with this lousy weather I might cage it to lunch today
