I was hoping to grab that tree. I'll have to see where this ends up next week when I'm off.

Job might last another 30-60 days unless someone buys the plant, then I will probably have one with the new owners. Problem is we are way closer to closing up than selling. There's only ten of us left... Used to be 400. We haven't ran any production since mid December.

Crap, sorry to hear that. Every time I see an FJR I think of yours, what a beauty.

    Good Luck.

    It'll work out!!
It will either be business as usual or more time for tagging and riding!! Just not going to get really down about it and luckily don't have to rush into another job. Of course that plan really mucks up the early retirement!

As written by some guy named spellbinder.

Just so y'all know, I won't be able to tag for at least a week and a half. I'll be doing other things!

    Nice tag b1pig!

    hints are in the post.

south of my house a few miles. (specifically 3)
    west on Hwy 122. :D

    but ok.

narrow the window of you search to Hwy 122 and Possum Creek Road... roughly 3 miles west of the 125/122 junction. (walker's crossing)

if no one has it by monday, i'll move it. looks like my little 4 day vacation trip to tellico plains was trumped by superior court.

No worries..... I'm re fueling with rum.... I'll be looking to get out tomorrow and get us a new tag... Maybe with a prize.....

I was cold enough that I had to crank the grip heaters from saute to char broil to keep my hands warm. Must have been the coldest 252 miles I've ever ridden.

    Greetings,

I'm doing a solo ride from Bluffton, S.C. down the GA coast line (well the best I can), I was wondering if anyone wanted to link up, or hang out?

Check out my sig for my current tour.

I may ride into Savannah this Monday and visit Honda Yamaha of Savannah (Abercorn ST) to have my chain tightened. I'm also looking at DVS Motorsports also. What do you'all think of these shops?

I may ride into Brunswick, GA on that same day. It's about 101 miles.

Well at least you picked a time with some good weather. :D

I haven't been on my bike in a week now. I got over the flu right after the new year and I thought it was done. Until I went riding last Saturday. By the time I got home my occasional cough turned into a rather frequent hacking cough that sounded like I was about to expel a lung. So I have decided to stay out of the cold until this goes away.

Well after having a successful run down around Ray City to pick up the last tag, things kinda didn't go my way. I made a trip to a vineyard (breaking my no dirt roads on the FJR policy) and was going to leave a bottle for someone as reward for finding the tag. Didn't work out that way -- because of a small disagreement with the law, they are unable to let the bottle leave unless its on a UPS truck. There is a small misinterpretation in the rule book that is literally taking an act of congress to sort out. The bill had its first reading Friday.

So --- grand plans dashed. Completely dejected, i wandered home knowing the rest of the weekend was fully booked and no opportunity existed for a backup tag run.

So I offer a monument as a tag and say it is near my work. Whoever knows it and wants to come after it, let me know and we will met for lunch or dinner at a local establishment - my treat. (PM me for my number) However i am not available today or Wednesday.

That rule lasted about 15 minutes with me.....
