    Hi George,

No I wish I were riding out west but I don't have the time off from work. My bike is already in AK. I bought it from a fellow ADVer. See post #24 of this thread for pic and details.

    Best regards,

    Mike

Yup, nothing wrong with tryin' to keep up with the Canadian Mikes'. :lol3

And if that Skibum ever gets down this way, we'll have to see if he can navigate his way around Loudon on sumptin a little sportier... zoom, zoom there Mikey... The gauntlet has thus been thrown,,, :D Choose thy weapon. :rofl

    Here's mine...

Oh yeah, and that smell you smelled, it wasn't coming from my pores! Funny that you would have your nose there! :razor

I believe you're picking on me! As for the smell, don't you know fish doesn't keep on the back of a bike for long?

Here's the deal, you don't have to put the 640 ADV against the SV at Loudon if I don't have to do what you did here with my SV.

    Deal?

phew-that's good news, but I think your SV should be able to fly just fine?:lobby
I'd take a lap on your SV, but I'm just a rank beginner:D

Oh, given the right (actually wrong) amount of throttle, both the SV and me have been known to fly somewhat (even with only 70 HP). :eek1 Generally me first with the bike following me immediately afterwards.

Ouch! I hate that part-I've only been beaten by my bicycles thankfully and not by a 350 lb moto.

We leave out of Boston on the 13th of June. Plenty of time for a get together. Drop by when you have a chance. No appointment
    necessary! :lol3

We just got back from a long weekend away in Northern VT and Canada. Someone's 50th Bday.... :eek1

    Good Day Mike & Kim,

I've been following your preparations with interest, and am certain that you'll have quite an adventure. Wish Jeff & I were meeting you this year, but with daughter's college graduation, the times just don't match up. Looks like I will get in another Father/Daughter Long Ride in July, possibly south or west...10 days together, this year on the '07 GS. I'm greatful that she still thinks dad is cool enough to hang out with, I know many parents whose children want nothing to do with them @ this age..... I'm a lucky man!

Here's a few shots of you guys on the Trans-Labrador from June 25 last year...remember how cold it was?

    be well,

    Roy
