Big Bear Ride 2009?

Part of my tools I also have 2 inner tubes, air compressor, clutch and brake levers, clutch cable, and some other...
in my cmalback i have first aid survival kit, good old vkdn, 2 liters H2O and power bars, satphone...

Don't forget the Candy and Cookies!

also, i bring clutch and brake levers, rear brake levers, clutch and throttle cables.....and on the next ride...a netbook computer..

Hey gents,

Can someone here point me in the right direction to select some decent forest roads / trails up at Big Bear that I can do with my F800? I've only been riding about three months / 5000 miles so nothing too over the top. I'm okay in a little sand, a little gravel and moderate whoops but when they're all combined at the same time my bike gets sleepy.

My wife has a MTB race up there in a few weeks and I'd like to take the F800 along to kill time and check out the scenery while she's racing.

i don't know the trail # but if you're coming from hesperia, you take bowen left to coxey, keep on going, and then you will see the sign to big flat and fawnskin.

OK that sounds like 3N14 to 3N16 .

How far would it be to get there (Bowen /Coxey) from Johnson valley?

no idea...my guess will be 3 - 4 hours depending how fast you ride.
