    Hi Notar,

It was great meeting you and Mav!

What a nice surprise to run into you - we had fun riding with you guys:D
Haven't looked through the files yet, but we got some pics and video of you two, as well.

    Prime riding season for sure
Later on in the ride, we met Dingweed in Montecello - it's a small ADV world!

Dickie, master marine, Joel, everyone - thanks for the RR encouragement, itS looking good!
We aren't quite home yet but the ride was awesome.
Got tons Of pics and video and had more than our share of adventure.
    This report is going
To be the BEST one yet (from a riding standpoint), it's insane what these big bikes can do.:evil
    :eek1 :loco :clap

    Joel-
Sorry we won't be at the ktm rally, we'll be working.:cry
I think we got our fill of Colorado, but you will have some nice fall colors in sept.

Docwyte, glad you made deep sand your favorite!
We had some good sand days on this ride and some bad sand days...
Unfortunately, bent bits come with the territory!

OK, you guys - even after we get home, it will take me a while to get the photos sorted (over
    4000)
And the video organized (hrs of footage from 2
    Or 3 cameras)
But look for a Report starting sometime next week. :deal
I can't wait to get off this stupid phone and back to a real computer!

Heading up to Highway Dirt Bikes tomorrow am to look into replacing my bent bits with their super trick stuff.

I've been eyeing their hand guards/mirrors for awhile, now I have the reason to get it...

I totally agree, there is always a reason for the Wans to do a ride report. Yes Colorado has been done but it hasn't been done with wacky links and "LittleWan-isms".:rofl

Aw, I pretty much did Colorado in the Summer of Stupid, but it's nice that you want more. :lol3
We did ride some new-to-us stuff on this trip. :evil

I don't know if there will be many fun linkies, :cry I've got my hands full with pics and video from 6 people...:eek1
    But, we'll see what happens...

    OK, you guys -
I'm just waiting for 400 photos from Bartek and then I'm ready to start. :deal

Never before did I believe cross-threading to be a good thing -- MC, glad to see you had a Wan interaction. :clap
Two years back, I saw a guy at a BMW dealership, saw that he had a ton of stickers on his panniers, made a mental note that I should talk with him, and helped him find a local place to camp. Only when I got home and on-line did I realize that it was Len, the seafarer rider whose adventures I'd been following for the past few months from Nova Scotia, to Deadhorse, to the southern most point of SA. Not easy to put faces to screen captures when you aren't expecting to connect the dots. . .. :eek1 :eek1 :eek1

    Hi NoVa Rider,

Oh I enjoy it when ride reports intersect (when reading them AND in person)!
It was great running into Mav and Notar. :D

We met some other ADVers on the trip, I hope they have RRs, too...:ear

    OK, back to work. :pierce
The new RR is up! - Oso Loco Taco Tour

    But it's just getting started...
hope to see you guys over there!

    Hi Corsica101!

Aw, just read the Canada parts of this one, so you can see where Lica wants to test out your 1190R! :evil

Start here (scroll down to the bottom of the page) - lpage 24 <-----

We had a blast in BC!

Update 6/18/14: the Oregon Backcountry Discovery Route cone has been found! :clap

    BOOM!

After nearly 2 years, I had given up hope :cry
but, I'm thrilled to report that the cone is now in the hands of an inmate...
(and not in the mouth of a squirrel)

The lucky finder sent me an email from the road - he said he took pics,
but we'll have to wait until he gets back from his travels...
Let's hope Coney keeps him safe in the meantime.
    (fingers crossed)

    :D

Couple of pieces missing in that picture. I don't see one piston & the bottom end. Was the little man with the hammer about to get out???

Time to put that baby back together. Summer is here & it's time to ride!!
