Sorry bout the name. There I was thinking I'd done well to remember them all, and yours was one I knew.

Old-timers disease has kicked in. If anyone sees me wandering around the bush in a daze just point me back to Canberra.

    Cheers

Has someone sat him down and had "the talk" with Bacon yet? Surely he must be wondering why we are eating all his cousins?!?! :ear

My dear ol' dad always said "You're known by the company you keep." Clearly Bacon is on his way to being a living legend. I can only hope that I get to meet him one day.

I just spent a half hour typing this out slowly then boom it disappears! :ddog

    Here goes again........

Saturday morning, the pig and I went for a ride down to the Royal National Park south of Sydney. It's a popular place for Sydney tar riders to live out there MotoGP fantasies.

Lots of curves and a fair bit of moss covering some of the "racing lines" so there are a few spills.

At the southern end of the park is Bald Hill which is one of Sydneys best hang gliding spots.
I hoped that pigs might fly, but the wind was no good and there was no one up in the air.
We took in the great view......

We checked out the bikes and then headed back to the city.

Bacon had been invited to my families pre Christmas picnic in Centennial Park. Once there he got in the mood very quickly.

My young "great niece" thought he was pretty cute.

The rest of the photo's have been edited as Bacon embarrassed himself by trying to shag my sisters dog. Too much red wine can have that affect.

Sunday morning and the pink one was a little under the weather. We had a cruise around a grey Sydney to show him the sights.

Bacon wanted to go to Kings Cross to check out his global empire.

    The fountain in KX.

We stopped by a Sydney institution, Harry's Cafe de Wheels.

A quick ride up to Mt White north of Sydney as the weather was starting to turn nasty.

Then home just before the storm hit!

The pig has a date with SYDADVGS this week to continue his journey.

I'll be sad to see the little fella go.....:2cry

It was with a heavy heart that I bid farewell to the little oinker tonight.

I handed him over to SYDADVGS for a big trip to Tassie and beyond (lucky bastards).

It looks like he will have fun with these two. We could run a caption contest for this photo.

Bacon wasted no time in getting into the mood tonight.

I'm not sure what cocktail he has in mind but I'm sure he'll pay the price tomorrow!

    Take care you crazy thing.

I gave Bacon the safety pin. It was there for exactly what its name implies. On Bacon's first journey I had him mounted on the back of my Dakar for the Great Ocean Ride trip but I was a bit nervous that the little fella might fall off and I'd lose him on his very first ride :cry . So I added the pin and then zip tied the pin to my bike so there was no way he could go missing as I cut through the twisties:clap :clap :clap .

Of course, once added, he thought it sort of looked cool and decided to keep it..:evil

Bacon, we need to have a talk.

You're reaching a certain age and are out experiencing the world. It's important that you know, well, I guess I'll just come out and say it... you're delicious.
