In my opinion the custom aspect (chromed, lowered) is hideous but if it were done in stock work truck or 4x4 it would be cooler.
I tend to agree with you, also if that truck was set up as a hauler (1ton axles and diesel engine) I would be more apt to like it.
That's pretty cool. Ford in Australia did the same thing but sold only about 400 or so. http://www.truckjungle.com/2012/08/18/aussie-classic-xy-falcon-4x4-ute/ And even one for sale http://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/lenah-valley/cars-vans-utes/xy-4x4-ford-falcon-ute-very-rare-/1012751350
Cool ... but I'm biased 44's , 20" spiders on the drive , camel back ? What's up front under the hat 300 - 9 speed ? .
Look closer 58's the cone on the end of the axel is the give away. Mack 350 and a 8LL Camel backs yes 1500 gal tank of fuel 6-100 gal product tanks & an air compressor.
Cheers. The E7 should give you a good run for your money. We only got the 38's ( prone to cracking the housing when pushed hard off road ) with the small flat end caps or the 44's with the cone ... that eventually leak Anything bigger was usually a completely different style and easily picked. Random web pic' of a series II super' fitted with our ( Oz ) bigger option.
Looks like a 1950 Chevy "Tin Woody". It'd wager that it was originally rwd then converted to 4wd at some point. Looks cool none the less.
