Nice AHRMA Premier lightweight. Handlebars could be a problem as they are 1 inch as I recall.

    Hi folks,

really enjoying this thread. Heres my project....

    [IMG][/IMG]

Started with a very stock bike. This is only a paint and polish job, I wanted to keep it mechanically original and no aftermarket parts if I could help it.

    [IMG][/IMG]

I've hit a wall people, and I hope you can help. The rear fender is beyond repair and the front one was always missing, I can't find replacements anywhere...

Can anyone give me a lead?? I'm in Australia but I don't mind sourcing from overseas.

    Hope you can help me,
    Peter.

The old girl, pretty rare old bird as it's a twin, and yes Greeves did do twins to special order. This ones a bit of a bitzer as it was built by a local trials rider.

Thanks Evil, I'd imagine an ice fender would have good clearance (for the spikes?), however this guy only ships within the states. I'm chasing up a couple of leads in the UK.

I just sold this little Gem a couple of months back to finance another adeventure (Yamaha TRI-Z 250) which I recently sold to finance yet another adventure (I know, it is a BAD habit, but...). Was a fun bike to ride. I am sure by the time we start camping this summer andmy brothers and I are sitting there in the campground "watching the kids" while the wives are out ridding I will miss it... all those stumps... just sitting there... dang now I already miss it!

guy I know bought this montesa cota and I helped him get it running. the rubber in the petcock had deteriorated and plugged up the holes. seems it's in pretty good shape for an '81. speedometer shows 1500 miles.

I really like my greeves. If i could locate a twin Id jump in immediately.

My 60 scottish is supposed to be really rare here in the us. it even has a plate. ive never seen or heard of a twin around here.

currently wrenching on a pair of BSA's...gonna turn em into trail machines.
