23.000km of China on a Yamaha TZM

The tour was from 11-2006 to 05-2007

Did 23.000km on my Yamaha TZM 150cc 2-stroke that i bought for 700 euro in Shanghai.
After the first 10.000km i met a nice girl who joined me and became my wife this year :)

The route was:
Shanghai-Huang Shan-Jiuhua Shan-Nanjing-Shanghai-Hangzhou-Wuji Shan-Longyang-Xiamen-Shantou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong (without bike)-Guangzhou-Zuhai-Macao(without bike)-Zhangjiang-Haian-Haikou-Sanya-Haikou-Beihai-Nanning-Liuzhou-Yangshuo/Guilin-Pingan-Kaili-Guiyang-Xingyi-Shillin-Kunming-Jinghong-Laos border (couldnt cross, license plate out of service)-Jinghong-Lincang-Dali-Lijiang-Deqin-Markam-Bayi-Lhasa-Changsha (by train)-Yueyang-Yichang-Shennongjia-Wudang Shan-Shaolin Si-Zhengzhou-Kaifang-Bozhou-Nanjing-Shanghai

btw the bike was stolen a month ago, so i need to get a new one for our next trip. me and my wife want to go from Shanghai to Germany in July

My wife though is sad because we only met because she ask me for a ride on the bike

Man...that's an impressive ride with great photos. It would be great if you had a map showing the roads you took.

I was simply blown away with how little you carried on the motorcycle. Good luck finding a new bike and hope you make it safely back to Europe when you leave China.

Why should i take much luggage? All ya need is a toothbrush, dry sock & underwear and 2-stoke oil. If your prepared for everything its not an adventure anymore

I am very sorry kid, but "...too busy" unfortunately doesn't count here
I mean, you not seriously believe that you can't tease us here with an outlook on an epic ridereport, don't you?!
Still the main-titles have cult-potential: China......! 23k on a 125.....! Meeting the love of your life while on a motorcycle journey.... ...bloody faces...! ....leaking machines....! ...rivers to cross...! orry mate, but THIS book must be writen! Otheres made tousands of bucks with far less!
