Big Bear has already received upwards of half a foot of snow today, and it is still snowing heavily.

In Baja, gas stations sometimes only have "corriente" (regular), and are out of the other octanes. I usually pass when that is the case. With the big tank, it shouldn't be an issue for you.

I left LA to go to Indiana to care for my dad. He died (we knew it was coming), and now I'm here taking care of my mom. She's healthy, but can't be alone.

I just want to say that I only rode with you guys a few times many years ago, but I never met a nicer bunch. I hope to show up again, someday. Look for the black XR650R. :D

Just got back with Joel from a little loop through Rowher to Rock Inn. Great conditions, and a little wet/muddy in areas too. It was an interesting experience riding without knobbies in the slippery stuff, as I had on my Anakee 2's, but it got the job done.

Thanks Joel for waiting while I crept through the sloppy stuff! :D

out of nowhere, isaac showed up and we're still about 5 miles to the meeting point. what a coincidence!

then duy on his way to the shooting range, stopped to say hello; all you PPs, we need to do "ride to bear arms" sometime soon.

little T was pretty empty; great thing about this route, we get a good share of twisty pavement.

some dark clouds hovering above rowher, a little sprinkler too but short.

Isaac and Joel, looks like we had similar rides yesterday. Perfect riding weather the past couple days. Stoked to be out there in the cool air with no one around. We went out towards Lake Mathews and putted around for a while yesterday. Mellow ride. Perfect dirt. Stoked. Glad you guys got out too.

    interesting rock.

think i know that dirt section. it's on the right side of the crest if your going up, past rincon. sito took us there once.

i haven't been to newks for a year, will need some street tires this summer.
