Wahhhoooo, what a fantastic report. :clap I loved every word of it and every photo even the blurry ones, the ones with raindrops and even the ones with a dusty camera lens. Those photos show how it really is, the rain, dirt, grit, grins and fun.

Thanks to all of you for sharing your Oso awesome adventure.

Little Wan, have a beer and rest those over worked fingers for now. Big Wan, get that bike in tip top shape and rest up for your next adventure.

My sig came from the amount of time I spend on the rubicon but it is more fun in a jeep! The lake in the picture is called buck island and is one of my favorite spots to camp. If you guys ever want to try it on four wheels let me know, I can arrange to take the whole group for an e ticket ride! Awesome rr by the way.

I'll second that motion!!! Amazing is pretty much an understatement.:clap When I saw the screenshot of the BFH, I wondered who had the foresight to bring that along---not to mention how they carried it....:lol3

Good thing those jeep guys came along.

Epic ride, guys!! This one may be a little tough to top. Nah, you can do this...

    >"No, we were not 2-up on the rubicon... But, 2-up? No way."

Can't remember the names... but a couple A or semi-pro riders did the
Cowbell (?) enduro 2-up... but that was a long time ago.
Darn it... maybe I'll remember the names later on.

Thank you Wans and the Oso Team,
What a great RR. Just like when Sharpie and I finished our TAT ride I am feeling a little sad this RR is over. To bad we didn't cross paths out on the TAT, but I do feel like the others that have followed this RR in that we were there because of your awesome ride reporting.

PS. Tell Big Wan that the next time he is cruising up over Donner Summit to take a little detour off 80 and check out the Fordyce Jeep trail I hear it can't be ridden on a big bike:D

    Thanks again

I hate when your RR s are over. It's just not fair. They need to go on forever.

Thanks for letting us all along for the ride. Can't wait for the next ride!

Well now you did it. You found a place I don't think I want to take my 990. :rofl I always read your reports and think, that looks like a cool place to ride. I'll pass on the Rubicon. Too much of this guy talking, :dllama Amanda (jadedillusion) said she wanted to go to the lake in the picture, I told her, I would stay at camp and drink beer :lol3

I'd say day 16 should count as a finale. It's definitely a culmination of major carnage. You could see the fatigue build as you progressed through the trail. Great work with the trialside repairs. Glad to see Lica got to ride out and not have to be trucked out. :clap

Thanks again for putting this together. You're reports keep getting better. I can't wait to see how you top this trip. So where are we going next year?:ear

Wow, one of the best moto travel ride reports ever. It's going to be hard to return to our normal programming.

I do feel the need to go crash one of my bikes into some large rocks, though I'm hoping that if I lie down in my hammock long enough, that feeling will go away.

Epic ride, great RR. Thanks Kelly and Matt, and all the Osos!

To both Big and Little Wan, thanks again for this report. Kelly, I'd like you to write any adventure I undertake, and feel free to embellish. Matt, I want you next to me when I bin it badly and the bike (and maybe me) are spurting fluids, so that i can hear the comforting words "what's wrong, it doesn't look that bad. . .. Look here, I have some J-B Weld. . .." And then make the fix work. :clap :clap :clap

Again, thanks for the great read. :freaky

What a great ending... I am sad its over.. Reading these ride reports helps me become more prepared. You guys had extra

    Fuel pump gaskets
    Rear brake leavers
    wheel bearings
    tubes
    patches

    Carried
    JB weld
extra strong tow lines and the wheel things to help reduce the load.. think radak had those..

    anything else I am missing?

... and used it ALL !
