Mick Owen / East Coast Bm's is closing in late March.

Mick is currently finalising the fitting out of a pantech as a fully-equiped travelling workshop, offering mobile servicing (including a tyre machine) and bike pick-up. He will retain his previous premises, co-located with Redback (near Joe's), as a warehouse/drop-off/workshop.

So, all you BMW owners take note. And anyone else who wants a trustworthy workshop in the ACT region (I don't know of another one, put it that way....).

you sure about the premises being the same... I thought they were changing as well.

Here's an extract from his letter:

"This means that from 27 March 2013, I will cease to operate from 3/74 Townsville Street Fyshwick.

For customers who still wish to drop off and pickup their motorcycle at Fyshwick this can be done at my new depot at unit 1/9 Collier St Fyshwick ACT."

The original business was at Collier St, the current one is at Townsville St, and "He will retain his previous premises, co-located with Redback (near Joe's), as a warehouse/drop-off/workshop." refers to Collier St (basically next door to Joe's).

Sorry if my wording caused any confusion.:shog

Davo, I'll still be ordering tyres via Mick, as he will deal directly with the importer to circumvent the shortcomings of local distributors (WGE take note, you useless bastards).

I have been using Corey at Joe's for most of my tyres, usally a good deal/range/options and fitted while you wait.

Also hes good for a little advice on old school sizes (R80GS) and new replacment sizes.

or Greg for the DRZ :clap.

Fozzy & myself are heading up early Friday, gunna show Fozzy some of the scenic backroads up to Oberon, :eek1
Then over Bells Line, ??? maybe Putty or Wisemans Ferry to Singleton, hope to make campsite depending on time, or will camp somewhere on the way :clap
Been getting my K460's & K70's from CMC, everything else from Joe's, some of that mob @ CMC are a bit dense, or am I too much of a 'bushy' for them? Salesman always tries to sell me a new bike, usually let him have a spiel about the latest & greatest, penny drops when I ask about a trade-in price for whichever XS I'm on :lol3
