    Excuse me, but that kind of cumshaw engineering is a running joke with Doug & I. Kinda got us in hack over in the Cack / Copper Canyon thread.


    And I think the Bimmer is next. That Jetson's taillight needs to be seen on the road again. Although seeing that Yankee up and running is going to be real nice.

    Glad to see you got a hack there Doug. But I think one of the older bikes would be more worthy of it than that Victory.

    Jerry Woods contacted me, I guess I spend too much $ with him :deal

    Aint been gettin much done in the garage, but I did get an original paint tank for the hercules, & got the sidecover decals also, & have found the other stuff to bring it back to original

    I just got that trials bike, Im gonna take it over to BG to play on. they aint never seen a trials bike over there. I'll find an old trabant or volga to climb around on :D

    That black Hercules/DKW is a rare one (they were badged DKW in europe)
    its an oil injection model, very few of them made.
    mine is the more common pre-mix type

    THAT'S the other thing I miss about Jersey...
    Stewarts Rootbeer.
    Nothing Else comes close.
    When I was but a lad in the 60s my da would take us there on special occasions and we would get to keep the frosty mug. Last real drive in on the east coast (that I remember)
