    maybe next full moon we can ride from castaic to lake hudges and back ,gas and food in the rockhouse ,around 140 miles ,130 o dirt and 10 o pavement ,no school buses also,or we can do 2 day ride from castaic to frazier park and from frazier to lake hudges and from there back to castaic 230 miles maybe 40 paved roads

    Makes me feel less silly for wearing my pressure suit under my street jacket when we went up SCD last week.

    I'm a freaking lightweight. Would not trust myself to drink and still ride. 13 beers for me even over hours and I would be a mess.

    I'll save the drinking for after riding....that's what camping is for, right?

    @ in the way down 3n24 or some like that ,the total acc is pretty acurate 3 before the ride+1 in linx+1 ranger station +2 in newcombs +6 pack to go+ 13 ,next time i need couple more ,run out for the last 2 stops

    The bad thing about camping is early mornings which means less time for me to recover from hang overs :lol3

    It's never my legs it's always my arms that get beat up standing but I am not sure what to do about that. Last time I did better at turning my feet in more so my knees would hold the tank and it helped a lot for stability while standing.

    doods, thanks again for coming along and that was a blast! :clap

    the weather was at high 60s

    having good lights made the ride better

    the food was good too

    not too many appreciate the angeles forest but to us FFs it is a gift, convenient and beautiful

    long ride for many, maybe started before 5 pm and get home by 4 am

    good job guys :thumb

    we can cook something up again...pick a date:pot

    next FULL MOON is on september 15 which is a sunday nite/monday morning(full moon is at 2:15A.M. monday morning)(and i will be outta town til tuesday:deal )

    angeles forest or gorman/castaic on a full moon.......what do you guys think....

    i'm IN just for the castaic...tule, rockstore, sawmill, liebre and old ridge........can't say no to angeles forest either!
