    Grab Miller Lake Road.

Hard to see the 3rd bike in the second picture. We are going to tag it tomorrow. Awesome day for riding today!! Now we have no choice but to ride tomorrow in the cold. I might tag it in front of my house again and just ride to the top of the driveway. :D

Ok so I am glad we didn't ride much elevation today. It was definitely cold. In the spirit of the holidays we added a little treat for the next person who grabs the tag. Hopefully the tin can keeps the elements and any critters out. I don't know if any of you will recognize the tin can I used. It's a great Canadian coffee shop that , in my opinion, far surpasses anything Starbucks makes. Anyway, I digress, as I didn't leave coffee and the tin has nothing to do with the location of the tag. In fact, perhaps my brain is too frozen because I can't think of a good clue to tell you where the tag is without just telling you where it is! It is on a road that leads into Earlysville (or away from Earlysville, depending on your direction of travel). The road doesn't go anywhere and it is marked as a lane. It is off of Reas Ford Road and you will pass Graemont lane. The three numbers add up to 13.

The tag is in the can with your gift at the end of state maintenance sign. Ok, go put on your heated gear or just brave the cold without heated gear like I did and move this tag before Santa figures it out and snags it.

Oh, and please don't ride past this point. The road turns into a driveway. We chatted with some nice people on the road.

My in-laws used to live on Reas Ford Ln., there's another ADV'er there also. Slacker doesn't post much any more though. (Note cord to heated vest in above pic - chilly out). Thanks for the treats tuffstuff, I'll bet they're even better when they're not nearly frozen!

Mouse is behind and at the base of the corner post on right, closest to the bike.
Since it's cold out I'll make this easy: It's West of Doylesville on Rt. 673.
'Twas a balmy 36 when I got home, had to break out the winter gloves after I placed the tag.

    New tag:

If a certain singing troubadour had a mountain with a road on it, it would probably be named the same as this road. And that would be sweet baby!

I went pretty far up this road. Very rough, it even knocked me down against an embankment on the descent. No harm done.

I stopped here, and considered leaving the tag here:

But ultimately went back down to where the road wasn't so rough, just loose gravel.

The tag is at the base of the address sign behind my bike.

    Covered by just leaves.

Great day for riding, even broke out the fingerless gloves, and kept them on the whole time!

Great weather for tag grabbing, glad you were able to get out.
That sign seems familiar but I can't place it - guess I'll have to do some sleuthing.

Wow, a week without so much as a mention, still sleuthing?

Need more clues or just warmer weather?

    Well, how about both?

Today's weather is perfect for tagging, and here's another clue: http://rapidanwma.org/

    Happy Saturday.

This clue helps. I was way off where I thought it might be.

Anybody figure out the singing troubadour?

    He's seen fire
    He's seen rain

If he had a road named after his mountain, this would be it.

Sweet Baby kind of narrows it down but I don't see anything that identifies that road name.
Besides, I don't have a RWM pass, fishing or hunting license and it's illegal to enter the WMA without one of the above.

Where's that 57 degress they were calling for?
