I am not referring to the newly downgraded CE Directive for Motorcycle Gloves, which has made CE testing for motorcycle gloves, easier than ever! I consider it a "bow" to the Industry.

These gloves are built to pass EN 13594:2002 4.9~4.10~4.11~4.12 These are the original testing criteria from 2002, NOT the watered down version that is soon to be at every Cycle Gear on the planet!

If you are unfamiliar with EN13594- 4.9~4.10~4.11~4.12, these are the numbers associated with specific testing criteria within EN13594:2002 To Include:

~ Abrasion Resistance, Cut Resistance, Seam Burst and Abrasion Resistance.

In addition, our continued development includes Seam Bonding to ensure we have the strongest seams in the business! I don't say that as a punch line either, I Guarantee our gloves to have the strongest seams of any mass produced Motorcycle Glove.

Looking for the Motorcyclist Review where our Formula gloves finished second. Due to a thread failure, Motorcyclist downgraded our gloves from #1 to #2. As a result of the Motorcyclist thread issue, we developed a new Seam Bonding Technique and use it on ALL of our gloves..

I'll try to post that review when I can find it.



Our Priority Point Seam Bonding was a result of this Magazine article..

I know that in your other thread that you said "it is suggested that you select your "typical" glove size", but I would typically wear either a L or XL in most other gloves and based on the sizing chart for the Exhibition Pro I would be a medium.

Any Suggestions?

Disregard the sizing chart on our site. After our next 2 stock orders our site will be updated to reflect our 2014 models and other various changes. The sizing chart has always been off. Between Large and XL, which do you normally fit into on average?

It seems to be a function of the brand and specific model. I have never had a Large that was too big and never had an XL that was too small though.

This is also my biggest problem with gloves. I typically try on 5-10 different pairs before I choose one. If a glove doesn't feel right I don't buy it, regardless of how good of a deal it is.

Kind of puts me off this deal. These gloves look great, but I don't want to risk it.

In my Alpinestars (known for running a bit smaller than usual) an XXL is a bit snug and the fingers a bit short. Do you recommend an XXL in your glove with that in mind? I know you mentioned ignoring your chart so I am relying on you to get me the correct size. :)

Would it be possible to produce a chart that said something like

Held | AStar | FirstGear | VelocityGear
9 | XL | L | L
10 | XXL | XL | XL

??

If not what is the Velocity equivalent to Held Size 10/AStars XXL ??

Luckily, there's no risk involved. Exchanges aren't a problem and if I can't put you into the best glove's you've ever worn, then I'll gladly take them back.

Yes, I'd suggest the XXL with some slight massaging. I have a great method to help in these situations but it can only be used once you have the gloves in hand.

I'll be ordering all sizes, so if an exchange is needed it's not a problem.

held 10 and A-Stars XXL- I'm going to say try an XL

I had to exchange until I got the correct fit, but it was worth it. Even the same sizes had some variation in the older versions. Why not order one of each, and then return the ones that don't fit?
I know I sound like a paid endorsement, but you've really got to try these gloves to see how much better they are than what else is on the market.

I've mentioned suppliers in past threads and I'm happy to say that most of 2013 was spent looking for people that understand the pursuit. After more than 10 years doing this, our current suppliers are better than ever!

Sizing is also much better than past efforts, just need to update the website to reflect the changes..
