I have 11,800 hard miles on my 8GS I bought Feb. 1, besides a broken chain, and a oil leak it has taken my riding style quite well. Both issues warrantied quickly and efficiently at different dealers. There's threads with details around here...
9,000 carefree miles since September. Will leave in 2 weeks for a 3,000 mile ride through the Southwest and will change tires just before leaving. This is the first bike I have owned that needed the front tire replaced at the same mileage as the rear. Usually it is a 2 rears to 1 front.
No miles and only 400kms....sad, very sad. I'm back to being a poseur as opposed to the semi-poseur I had become. Nice to see some folks riding. Last year's BMW MOA winner did 68,000 miles in year I think.
