    It actually turned out to be 2 HD riders making the leap to the world of BMW... when I told my wife I was getting the GSA she said "There's no way in hell you're gonna take off on gravel roads and such and leave me behind!".

    So she sold her Ultra Classic and bought a new F650GS! :clap:clap She loves it and we still get to ride together. win win:D

    Ha thats great picture I live on that road Maplewood Rd in Ithaca rite off 89. I bet iv seen ur GS up near Seneca Falls rite on 89 if thats ur bike its a small world and every time I drove by the house an saw the bike I alway wonder if they were on ADV,:D Thanks for the pic Owen G

    The insurance helped him out, he has the 6 cilinder thing now.

    Story is simple; he overtook a car and then the car took a left turn on to a bridge at the wrong moment. He hit the Beemer on the right cilinder and crashbar and the driver went fot a swim. Sounds stupid, but shit happens. The car driver never saw the bike and never expected the bike when he took the turn.

    Learning moment; most cardrivers are related to Steve Wonder and some of them are swim fanatics :evil
