Does anybody have the capability to run down a license number, assuming they can read the plate? I think he posts as "Rustler", based on posts #4208 and 4219 in this thread... profile says he has a KLR of that year. Disregard, he's safe and sound! :-)

Hopefully he is home with a beer and will check in here soon. I know Sopascat made it as far as the Rose Bowl area since she was still riding when I cruised through there. I think she was really out running laps out in that new dirt playground off of BPL and never went home when she told us she did. Hope the ice victims aren't too sore in the AM.

Sorry kids, I have a knack for going the wrong way. I headed straight instead of turning on Moody because I always go straight. Then I started to say to myself, either they are riding REALLY fast or I'm going the wrong way. Then I noticed only one set of fresh tracks on the SCD, and said hmm I don't think so. So I started back, wondering where the guys behind me were. Then I KNEW I went the wrong way. I headed down Moody's until I got to the mine. I then remembered something about the 49'er and a pretty girl, so I headed there. Had some coffee, figuring you may show. No show, so down Soledad to Indain Cyn. Up Indian to SCD, then explored an old abandon fire road off the other side of the tanks and tower. Got a little too knarly for being by myself, so headed back to SCD. Passed a KTM and Honda going up. Then stopped at the Wildlife Waystation to hear the lions roar. I love that sound! Down to 7/11 for two hot dogs, and slabbed it back to Temple City.

Don't ever worry about me. If I get lost, its because I have a bad habit of making assumptions that often are not true, and follow them into stupid land. I mean when we road in Gorman I just had to do this hill climb first, and of course get stuck, just as everyone was leaving camp for a ride, and didn't notice me missing, until it was too late. So I rode most of the day by mmyself, although that meant I got to ride Frazier, and East Tejon. :rofl

:clap Yea! Just glad you're home safe. Would hate to think you are trapped under the KLR somewhere up there in the cold overnight. We'll try not to lose you again. :D

Rustler: glad you're OK, and i figured you could take care of yourself. But i hate not knowing where everyone is at on a group ride. It's the den mother in me. We figured you went down the divide. We'll know next time to not worry about you. Thx for the "burning man" stories.

We did pretty well today, keeping everyone together- 14 riders, yes?

Everyone: thx for the ride. It was a lot of fun. Hope i didn't offend anyone w/ my "ricky racing".

    See you next time.

You didn't lose me, I lost you. But thanks for your concern. It makes me want to sing this song by Rascal Flats, dedicated to the best crew to run with in So Cal. They may not be the fastest, they may not be the prettiest, but they sure are the nicest.

    Me And My Gang:freaky

Way on down to southern Alabama
With the guitars jammin' that's where we're headed
Straight up to Butte, Montana singin' Lord I was born a ramblin' man
    California to Oregon
Even New York City got one or two hillbillies ready to hit the road
It's a brother and a sister kinda thang
Raise up your hands if you all wanna hang with
    Me and my gang
We live to ride, we ride to live
    Me and my gang
    Jump on that train
Grab a hold of them reigns
We gonna rock this thang, cock this thang
    Me and my gang
We got hippies, gypsies, freaks and geeks
High class women in Daisy Duke denim
Bangin' on gongs and singin' our songs
Dude named Elrod jammin' on an Ipod
    Beer and bonfires
Wide open throttle, Coors in a bottle
It's all for one and ONE FOR ALL YA'LL
It's a brother and a sister kinda thang
Raise up your hands if you all wanna hang with
    With me and my gang
We live to ride, we ride to live
    Me and my gang
    Jump on that train
Grab a hold of them reigns
We gonna rock this thang, cock this thang
    Me and my gang

You musta missed my earlier post. I ran across her in Pasadena, still on the bike, so if she wasn't home, she was close enough to walk. And plenty of folks around to help if need be.

You can tune-a-fish and a pie-anny, but how do you tune this thing?
