Hi guys. Have a place in SW Oregon. It's rural (16 miles from town on some beautiful curvy roads), two story 3 bedroom old restored farmhouse with front/back porches on 4 acres. Raised garden beds. Chicken coop. Paddock for hoses/llamas/goat/gerbils/rhinos or whatever. Deal is for free rent, garbage. You pay electricity.

Big, well lighted shop with wood stove. Lottsa tools that the caretaker is welcome to use providing they're cleaned and put away.

100's of miles of amazing local roads/logging roads. Great fishing/hunting.

It IS Oregon so it rains a lot in the winter. Ride wet or stay home....
Seriously, if rain gets you down, prolly not a good idea to consider it.

    Spring/Summer/Fall are AMAZING!!

Duties are basic maintenance, yard work and not letting the inside look like a college dorm.

Some projects need to get done so if you have carpentry skilz that is a bonus and we can negotiate.

Dial up only as I don't get up enough to pay for satellite.

    Non-agressive dogs/wimmins OK....:lol3

    PM me if you're interested.

    Hop-Sing,

You have plenty to do at the Rancho, you don't have to travel all the way to Oregon...

Op, what is the nearest town?

1)Currently dial up. Had satellite but it wasn't worth the expense considering how little time I spend up there.

2)A couple of feral cats that the local coyotes/cougars have eaten, other than that, don't know.

I'm looking for kind of a quiet, out of the way place ...

Can't believe no takers yet. Opportunity to live in a more free state, away from tax hell, CARB, maybe the IRS. Live off land in case of SHTF. Sounds perfect to me, man!

Looks like too many ADVers have jobs and similar responsibilities. Now if there were an O'Reilly Auto Parts store and a school district needing a special needs instructor in the immediate vicinity...

Haven't seen an O'Reilly's. Several car part places but I think mostly NAPA. Not sure about the teaching thing...

    I don't know, the Landlord does look a bit like a pirate.:lol3

Moving to a small town is a big deal if you need to support yourself. Of course with electricity being the only bill you'd only need enough to pay for food and fuel. Does this house have wood or propane heat?
