Tough choice between a road full of mud ,deep river crossing etc or a warn bed.

Good thing I am not the one taking that tough decision!:eek1

Enjoy , you are a lucky man!

Noah, or any of the rest of ya'll FF's dont know how close of tabs ya'll are keeping on Joe on the F800GSA but according to BMW facebook page he took a tumble off a sketchy bridge on the BAM on his way to the Vidim Bridge... Link to FB Page

Be careful out there Noah, sorry about the weather but good on ya for keeping a level head and not ruining your equipment by attempting it by yourself:freaky

Just saw this a few minutes ago and thought about posting it. Good thing they took their motos by hand across some of the bad looking bridges. This guy wasn't so careful...

I found myself smiling while reading the above. I had fallen behind on your report trying to get my own plans underway. But man, I'm so glad I took a break from work to catch up.

Changes in plans are all part of the adventure. If everything worked as planned it wouldn't be an "Adventure". I'm guessing you had a "Bunch" of Adventure lately. Hoping you can slow down and relax, spend some time with your special lady-friend, and post some pictures of what you've been facing!

A few km before the Vitam bridge, some local Russians told us a German guy fell off the Vitam and died a few weeks earlier. They were talking about Joe... (over inflated story of course). We figured if someone had bit the bullet off the vitam we would have heard about it. Still.. not the type of news you want to hear 15 km prior to crossing.

You will have to wait. I'm trying to get caught up now.

Thanks... I will put it to good use. :deal

Well. It keeps on raining. Komsomosk might soon be underwater. Last night we had to move our bikes from the storage garage because it was going to be underwater soon. I have to get out of town before there is no way out.. or I would have to wait for maybe a month before the water goes down? This would not be a problem but I am officially in the freindzone :baldy with Sveta I don't see a reason to stay.

And another shitty side note.. after 11 month, 23 days of growing an amazing beard.. a misunderstanding with a Russian barber lady ended it. I was enjoying getting my hair cut short so I had my eyes closed.. in deep thought.. and I feel the buzzer going up my left cheek. I open my eyes to see almost half my beard gone. WTF lady! I freaked out but the damage was already done. It all or nothing so it came off. I didn't make it to 1 year so I guess I'll have to start over. :deal
