Whoa. It looks as if the trees are steaming when it first starts. I guess that's what our neighborhood would look like. Sure hope we get more snow.

That temperature graph is in celcius doesn't even start reading until it passes 100C the boiling point of water! None of the temperatures shown are survivable by humans. :eek1

I have to wonder how they had that camera protected so that it could withstand temperatures of 800C...

Or a fireproof safe with a cutout. The heat's intense, but only lasts a couple minutes.

Or a fireproof safe with a cutout and insulated stove glass. The heat's intense, but only lasts a couple minutes.

I used to be a wildfire guy, and the gov't makes mandatory fire shelter's that have to be carried by everyone on the line. It's not much more than an emergency blanket. Even with the shelter, too many of the FF who need to deploy die from burned lungs. Survival is prudent in extreme fires by avoiding such cases.

This video is interesting on several levels. It's very well produced, with stunts that border on a big budget hollywood movie. It also centers around a passion that kept me watching the whole way through - despite the fact that it's really an ad for a product. I've never heard of the product, I don't even think it's sold stateside, but I couldn't help myself. I watched the whole video.

    I bet you will too.

YEah, I thought something was funny. Red Bull doesn't want it to go idle. I fixed it by setting the "autoplay" to 'false'. Learned something in the process.
