if/when we encounter snow, i'd want the knobbiest thing i could find. took the 80/20's off today for the d606's. it looks so much better and i'm not scared of crashin now. i dropped the bike 3 times the first outing with the 80/20's.

I crashed on ice two days ago coming down the Coronado Mtn in a shady spot with nobbies on the rear. No kind of tread would have helped so I am bringing slicks and bandaids.

I will be at the shell station 0730 for the ride to the Bisbee Breakfast Club Fri morning. I plan to pack whatever supplies I need but may need gas sometime after Douglas, I plan to bring a small gas bottle too.

Should be fun, sounds like we have at least 5 or so coming, hopefully more make it.

I'm planning on being at BBC at 8. I'm planning on camping, and will bring the bare minimum (hopefully to be supplemented along the way). I'll try to rig up some sort of small spare gas can today. Really looking forward to this.:clap

Just spoke to Pat that owns the BBC. They are open tomorrow. I'll get there a little early and get us a table for 6 just in case. I count 4 or 5 on here right now.

I'm all packed and added some new farkles to the XR for this trip. Nobody laugh at my new hand muffs when they see them or else!

I've got a sleeping bag, a hammock, a few MRE food pouches, matches, a small bottle of Jack Daniels ala Rob, a tinfoil emergency blanket, a warm hat so I don't have to sleep in my helmet, and a couple of those chemical foot warmer pouches just in case.

    That's me :D

Barring some weird happenstance tonight (New Year's Eve in Bisbee - who can tell?), I'll be at the BBC at 8.

hey, it isn't my crank case that has a crack in it! i have so much crap strapped to the bike that i had to ride it and rearrange stuff a couple times. i had no front wheel weight at all the first time and could hardly steer on gravel.
