so, i figure there are enough of us in the thumb that we should get together, break some bread and drink some beer.

now i'm a pretty bad organizer, but i'm gonna throw this out there:

saturday, january 24 we gather at a local establishment, eat some cow, consume a brew or two and shoot the shit.

there are a couple of good places in caro for this type of activity, jj's, the brickhouse, or maybe the brentwood. if it's a big enough group i'll try to score a decent-sized room.

if you have suggestions for other locales or activities, feel free to make them.

your spouse or significant other is invited.

The Brentwood Bowling alley food is fine. JJ Jamokes is not so good. How about the 50's Diner out on 46, east of 24? Is it still there? I haven't been up to Caro in nearly 6 months, but I used to belong to your local GWRRA chapter, so we might know some of the same folks in town.

I doubt I'll make it for this gathering due to having surgery on the shoulder Jan 15th, but promise to make contact before I come up the next time. Maybe when the County Fair comes to town. The dirt bike racing is always fun to watch.

I'll get back with you guys but I think there is Ice Racing at Perani Arena one of these weekends.

I live around Lansing but frequent Bay City and the thumb isn't too far away... I guess BC is more in the armpit of the state. Not sure if I'll make it or not for wherever you all decide to go, but I may be interested in doing rides when the ice melts.

I live in Indpls, IN but go visit family in thumb area about once a month...we are on M-25 Lakeshore Rd between Lexington and Port Sanilac , We have land and riding trails...I go snowmobiling but is REALLY quiet in evenings up there so looking for new riding people or snowmo folks to BS over a beer with, thanks Doug

All my bikes are currently in the Thumb at the folks place. I'm in Wisconsin right now awaiting a call for a job interview at Harley Davidson, and I have a job interview in South Dakota sometime this week.

I'm a definite maybe on the Thumb rally.
