Just to back up what Buzztail already said--the "Tent Space Thread" in Trip Planning is the place to go...I've been a guest once (on the Goodbye Corporate America Tour) and a host 3 times now, and every guest I've had (5 total) was a genuine pleasure to have around. Heidi and Bernd were the first world travelers I've hosted but I hope not the last!

And I signed that petition BTW--thanks for posting the link, Maestro:thumb

I gave him some Truth, not that it's gonna do any good. Kris Kristofferson said it best in "To Beat the Devil:"

If you waste your time a-talking
To the people who don't listen
To the things that you are saying
Who do you think's gonna hear?
And if you should die explaining how
The things that they complain about
Are things they could be changing
Who do you think's gonna care?

"Yeaaaahhh..... if you could get your Strategic Alignment and Response Metering on board with our Dialogue Culture and Review Metrics, that'd be great. Also HR keeps hounding me on that tobacco-free certification on you. No big, guy. But if you could get that and your TPS spreadsheet to me by 5 that'd be aces, guy."

I have now seen whence this shit comes (University classroom).

    Goodbye, Strategic Communicator Cult! :wave

If that Culture could remove its collective head from its collective Academe ass, yeaahhhh, that'd be great

Going forward, I'm going to need you to process the end of month data, and updates on the beta test units for my Stragic Planning meeting with Senior Admin by the end of period one. If you need any assistance please feel free to reach out to another team member. This is well within XXX's wheelhouse, and she'd be glad to get you up to speed. Please let me know if you get any push back.

This will become part of the SWOT matrix, and competitive intel/market saturation email you currently send, but I'll need it in printed form also.

When you have a second this afternoon please come see me so we can further discuss phase two of the price point advertising. I'll be in the S&OP meeting until about 1:00

Thank you for the heavy lifting.

Sometimes being the guy with the coffee cup is as bad as actually doing TPS Reports.

    I killed that mf'in thread, apparently:dunno

    for prank calls:wink:

Ya know, like the old saying goes, no matter how good-looking a woman is, just remember that somebody, somewhere, is sick and tired of putting up with her shit.

Yeah she's smokin hawt, and that's the triple truth. RUTH!:augie

And now for a completely different kind of smokin hawt--I know F-4s weren't very maneuverable, and apparently they were a bitch and a half to work on, but ever since I was a little kid I've thought they were the most badass-looking fighter jet I've ever seen. And I recently stumbled upon this pic, prolly the best pic of one I've ever seen:

Yeah they couldn't turn worth a shit but they sure were fast:wink:

Of course I am no pilot but I was around Eglin during the transistion from F4 to Eagles. I was told the F4 flew a lot like a brick, and the F15 flew like.... well like an Eagle.

But I have to agree the F4 were bas ass....

Baddest fighter of all time ....P51 baby....

Ya know what, I never thought about it like that, but now that ya mention it, I think it's a pretty good comparison.:nod

I concur with ya there, Maestro--and not only the baddest fighter of all time, the most beautiful airplane that has ever flown, as well. IMHO, of course.

Most badass radial-engined fighter of all time? That's easy. The Corsair, without a doubt.

The late Frank Cheek, founder of T.W.O. and High Valley Airport in Suches GA, flew Corsairs in the Navy. He missed WWII by a year or so IIRC, can't remember if he told me he flew in Korea or not. I sure do miss going up to Suches and hearing his stories.

Between the airpwer pics and Jen Anniston, might be time for a title change to say "Panhandle Old Guys Thread of Awesome".
