Ride back to PNSR and to Darwin and the falls, at this point bad luck strikes again, sand in my camera lens, camera is now dead, and my charging outlet on the bike doesn't seem to work anymore, so no more iPhone camera and gopro….booooh!

other items that failed me were the over boots rain cover from bilt cycle gear, and my rotopax mount broke and got loose on the way to the dunes in panamint valley, lucky I didn’t lose it.

Ride out to day call to wifey, get to the phones at Stovepipe and two dudes are using the left one. I ask if they are working, they say no, they dont take coins we had to call collect.
I explain the trick of feeding coins until you trick the machine, it works, I get wifey.
I keep talking with them, and their rv broke down on 190 13 miles from here.
I ask if I can help, and go back to the RV where they have 3 friends waiting there just stuck.
    They're confused and freaked out.
I explain to them Ricky and other dude are on the phone with the rv rental company and everything will be ok.
    they're cool now....

    Time to ride!

i'm not one to mix with the masses but I do it this time, I never walked to these dunes,

    message to Ben, RIP brother
Thank you so much for all your years of friendship.
Thank you for being there when I was down, for helping me with my bikes, and teaching me all you knew about mechanics and ADV riding!
Megan used to say she was so relieved y'd be riding with me...just in case...
I miss you every day, I have tears coming out of my eyes right now, and this ride was beautiful and I'm sad I cant share it with you.
Here's is to ADV, to all the good times/rides we had together

    Hey LeDakaR,

Great stuff! Plenty cold this winter ...

The AAA map threw me off, too ... I knew where I was and was looking at the road from the top, but because it wasn't on the map I was not sure what to do ... ha. :ricky Finally figgured that if AAA didn't want me to know about the road, I'd better not take it ... gives me a good excuse to go back sometime soon ...

    Coffee first! :cry

    see you around the campfire,

Joel, I was on the noob ride 4 years ago it was I think, with redbulladdict and some other GS fella, I was a DV noob there, still feel like one, but I want to come back one more time this year, maybe during the noobrally, my friend Andy Senorpelegro, said something about going, so I might see you guys again then, itll be warmer I hope!

About the noob and PSR....how many people do you expect, how do you deal with a big crowd there?
