    I don't think you'll be using that engine for anything other than a boat anchor now.

    So was there a drop involved with putting the connecting rod through the case?

    Yes, it was tough.....

    Crushed my rt side case to where it's top was completely ripped off its hinges.
    Zip ties good!

    Banged it back into shape with a softball sized bouler.
    Shattered turn signal lens.
    Dented headers on the one side.
    Fog lamp ripped off.

    Had to roll the bike back down to a somewhat level spot to turn it around.

    All in all it was ok and no damage to me.

    Was happy I did not roll it over the edge........

    Nope not water tight and not empty but nothing in them that was ruined by water. The lower bag filled with water and made it that much heavier to pick up. :lol3
