    1. Doing it
    2. Working on it
    3. Talking about it

    Doing it is riding. Working on it includes wrenching to try to make a bike built for one thing do another. Talking about it is... Well, you're on this website, right?

    Many people get older, get more responsibility, get whatever. Participating in any one of the three states is what it's about!

    How many guys do we know that say "I'd be a better rider and not crash all the time if I had ABC XYZ bike……"

    We should know by now that it is the monkey, not the banana, that needs to get better, but if you can convince the monkey he needs a better banana, and sell him a better banana, then do so and take the monkey's cash.

    None of the OEMs are in business to make functional bikes, they are in business to make money. If you make the new one faster than the old one, it will sell to the monkey that needs the new banana to be better.
