Apparently some guy in the audience started trash talking Jordan enough that he lost his concentration and fell.[IMG]
"17 championships, my grandmother has 17 championships!". Or something like that.

I was thinking about one of these, until my son decided he liked it too( he get's his licence next spring)

I think this is more likely what I'll buy. According to the Husky Sales rep, only 40 for Canada. Retail $8200.00
I know it's just a revise BMW, but the dealer I last worked for sells them, so I should be well looked after.

That's just a sponsor giving words of encouragement!! :lol3

Actually, his back brake was leaking, that's why he kept looping over backwards. It's a true pro who can continue when something like that happens.
Those rear master cylinders on today's trials bike are so incredibly small that they always have problems with them.

It was great to run into you, Jamie!
I can always guarentee that I will run into at least 1 ADVer at the show.

Did you sit on that bike?

What a POS! That seat made stock BMW seats feel like a well used Barkalounger.:huh It was fucking BRUTAL!!!
That bike felt weird. The seating position was uncomfortable as hell.
The parts were also much cheaper, in look and feel than the bike it is fashioned after....
Save some money and buy a lightly used X-Country with a re-built seat and some nice farkles!:deal

Yes I did sit on it, it didn't seem that bad to me. Mind you, I have spent the season on a 250 Sherpa, so the Husky is actually a bit of an upgrade in the seat department.
I'm still thinking, but I am also waiting to hear more about thier Scrambler/Moab project thing. It's supposed to go into production, but doubtful that we'll see it here.

Why the 800 over the X-country? Is it the bigger engine or just time for a change? The 800 looks great, but the X-country looks great as well.

Who's up for dinner on Saturday (Jan. 5th) after the show? ( http://www.supershowevents.com/ )
Zen and I will be taking the boy (north-ish?) to the show Saturday afternoon, and figure we'll grab a bite afterward.
We also have a couple of rider friends that, for better or worse, would like to meet a few more ADVers...

    We are thinking 7-ish...
Suggestions for a location near the show would be nice, too.

Let's plan to meet at the indian place we've been to after the show a couple of times.
It's called Mughal Mahal, and it's right at the corner of Derry & Airport Roads. This way (as with some other years) anyone working the show for DSP can make it out without going too far as well.

The time is 7pm unless otherwise updated here.
The address is 7071 Airport Rd - the easiest way to access it is to go north about a hundred yards past Derry, turn right - it's the last place in the strip mall.

So far it's five of us for sure, but we've heard from the following as maybes:
    ceacea & stfmkr
    natnewt
    Groves

We'll be stopping in to the DSP booth in the afternoon to let them know as well, in case they have not checked in here.
